Purpose of the Program
The Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM) is a 72-hour program designed for those who desire to serve the church or a church-related ministry. The Interdisciplinary program provides a well-rounded biblical, theological, and practical understanding of the Christian faith in relation to other disciplines. Students may develop a concentration in one of three areas: Christian Counseling, Global Leadership, or Leadership Coaching. A minimum of 32 hours in a specific area must be taken to establish a concentration. The program is for the following:
- Christian workers (professional or lay) in positions where the master’s degree will allow entrance into a Christian vocation which would not otherwise be possible; and
- Those who need a general seminary education and wish to gain further knowledge in areas associated with practical interdisciplinary Christian ministry, and
- Those who desire to gain expertise in the specific areas of Christian Counseling or Global Leadership.
